Trip Cancellation Policy

Group Trip Land Cost: Scuba Travel International and its cooperative destinations incur recoverable charges preparing group trips, therefore there can be no refunds if cancellations occur less than 30 days prior to travel. Cancellations occurring between 31 to 60 days prior to departure will result in a penalty of 50% of land costs. Cancellations that occur up to 60 days prior to travel will result in forfeiture of deposit moneys. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

Airfare Cost: Airline tickets are generally non-refundable. Refunds for unused plane tickets are in accordance with the terms of the respective carriers and will be subject to a $50 handling fee. Changes to airline schedules and routing are at the sole discretion of the airline; Scuba Travel International cannot be held accountable for these changes. We will do our very best to work with the respective airlines to re-secure air and offer the best possible protection available, any cost incurred that are not covered by the airlines would be the responsibility of the traveler. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

Cancellation Note: Scuba Travel International retains the right to cancel any tour prior to departure. In such case, full refund of land cost constitutes full settlement. We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred by trip members in preparation for the trip (i.e. non-refundable air tickets, visa fees, equipment, medical expenses, etc.) if their trip is canceled or rescheduled for ANY reason. Unfortunately, we cannot vary from our stated cancellation policy regardless of your situation. We recommend that you buy trip cancellation insurance immediately upon booking your tour.
