Been awhile since you've hit the open water? Heading out for a dive vacation? A refresher is a great way to brush up on your skills. If it has been over 12 months since your last dive, a refresher is highly recommended. A lot of resorts will ask to see your c-card and your logbook and may insist on a refresher prior to entering open water.

If it has been more than 4-5 years since your last dive, a refresher may not be enough, you may want to think about retaking the pool & classroom training (see course audit below).

Please remember, a refresher is only that, a refresher. If we have to "reteach" you all the skills, that is tough to do in a 1-2 hour pool session.

Pre-registration is required for all refresher courses.

A review of decompression theory, dive tables, and dive computers. Approximately 2-3 hours in length.

Covers all your scuba skills including equipment setup, entering/exiting, mask removal & clearing, regulator recovery & clearing, ascending/descending, BCD removal/replacement, buoyancy control. For certified divers who's last dive was no more than 4 years ago. Approximately two hours in length.

Designed for certified scuba divers who's last dive was more than 4 years, but no more than 8 years ago. They will participate in ALL pool & classroom training sessions, but will not receive any textbooks and will not have to rewrite the exam. (This is also recommended for certified parents who enroll their 12-15 year old children in the course and are required to be present during their training).
