Equipment Specialty Certification Course

This course is designed to give a more in depth look at how dive equipment works. It will cover general repairs and maintenance, focusing on "in-field" repairs that are common and easily fixable at a dive site. The course will show students how to do quick repairs and troublshooting of wetsuits, drysuits, BCD's, regulators, and other essential dive gear. Students will learn simple and easy tips and tricks regarding their dive equipment.

Topics discussed during this course include: how the piece of equipment works, how and what it is made of, features & options, basic repairs, care & maintenance, choosing what is best for you when purchasing.

While ownership of dive gear is not required, this course is definitely recommended for anyone who does own their own gear or anyone who is interested in pursuing leadership dive courses.
Course fees do not include textbook, transportation, accommodation, equipment, air fills, etc.
