A great way to get your feet wet before taking the plunge with the full scuba certification course. You will wear full scuba gear in the shallow end of the swimming pool and discover what it feels like to breathe underwater. The session includes a brief overview of the scuba equipment and how it is used. You will learn a few basic scuba diving skills and have a chance to explore the underwater world. Each session is approximately one hour in length and includes all necessary equipment. Course is normally held at the NAIT Swimming Pool (unless indicated otherwise). Group rates available for private groups and clubs. Great way to kick-off an office party or team-building session. Receive credit for the amount paid if you decide to pursue the full scuba certification course. For ages 12 and older (an adult must register and participate with children 12-15 years old). Pre-registration is required. DISCOVER SCUBA 50+ Are you fifty or older and tired of being lumped into activities and classes with "kids" half your age? How about a discover scuba just for you! The instructor is also over fifty, so now you can have some fun with others your own age. DISCOVER SCUBA LADIES ONLY How about a girls night out..... in the pool! A discover scuba for just you and the girls. And the instructor is female too, so no men around to see us with bad hair and streaky make-up! |
